Nursing Bra

Nursing bra is one of the attributes for breastfeeding mothers are commonly used. Nursing bra will be difficult to find in regular clothing stores. There are various models but broadly there are only two, namely a wire brace and without. I would rather suggest to buy and wear a nursing bra with no wire support and a rather loose to stay comfortable. Especially when your breasts are full will feel crowded, loud and sick, when we use that too fitting bra size would be very uncomfortable.

World Breastfeeding Week

World Breastfeeding Week set by the WHO ( World Heath Organizationevery ) first week of August to commemorate and remind of the importance of breastfeeding. Humans are reminded of the divine gift the which is a natural form of natural milk source. According to the WHO  is currently only 35% of women want to breastfeed during at least the first 6 months after birth. In the future the expected target of 80% was achieved. State of the small number of breast-feeding mothers must be very worrying.

Weight loss of newborns

Weight loss of newborns is something that naturally happened. No need to worry if the baby’s weight has decreased during the first days of his birth. For indeed until day 4 , he will lose about 5-7% of birth weight. This is a time for children to adjust to the real world. To compensate for the weight loss, it is recommended that babies be breastfed every 2-3 hours in a day or every baby like to drink . Thus, it is expected , in the next 2-3 weeks and weight loss can be recovered.

Challenges of breastfeeding in the first month

Challenges of breastfeeding in the first month and especially in the first four days there are things that can be frustrating and pressure that could lead to giving up breastfeeding. Breastfeeding is a challenging process for both mother and child. Any mother who had just given birth must be feeling pleased and tired. Especially new mothers who had their first child. With the lack of experience and desire to provide the best for her baby will be more easily stressed when things are not going well.

Manual Breast Pump Vs Elektric Breast Pump

In a certain condition, there are times when we must use a tool to express your milk us. For example, for mothers who work in office so far apart from her baby, excessive milk production, the baby can not breastfeed directly for some reason, etc.. Breast milk can be removed with some ways that is milked by hand directly or using a breast pump. There are 2 kinds of manual breast pumps and electric breast pump.

Frequency of Breastfeeding

Breastfeeding should be done as soon as possible after delivery. Infants and mothers who do breastfeeding within 1 hour after birth have a greater success than those who delay. Newborns should be nursed every 2-3 hours until the baby is satisfied. Breastfeeding at least 5 minutes on each breast on the first day after birth and increasing frequency every day so as to increase milk production optimally. When feeding 20 minutes on each breast enough for the baby. No need to limit the time of breastfeeding. Frequency of breastfeeding that often can increase milk production.

Lactation

When the baby sucks the breast, a hormone called oxytocin makes milk flow from the alveoli, through the milk ducts (ducts / milk canals) into the sacs} {milk reservoir located behind the areola, and then into the baby's mouth. The process of production, secretion, and milk is called lactation expenditures.

Increasing the volume of breast milk

Increasing the volume breast milk .Increasing the volume of milk. There are things that must be taken to ensure that the volume of milk can be increased. Get plenty of rest, not stress, feeding on a regular basis, enough fluids and eating nutritious foods with adequate portions. Based on my experience, there are some foods that can be used to increase the volume of breast milk.

Duration of breastfeeding

Prompts for the duration of exclusive breastfeeding is during the first 6 months which means that children were given only breast milk alone. After exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months, continue breastfeeding until 2 years. The reason is the number of disease affecting children under 2 years, ranging from mild to severe and even that can lead to disability. Remember that in the process of breastfeeding in addition to nutrition also "soldiers" (white blood cells) capital will flow into the child's body. Another reason is the formation of a stronger bond between mother and child.

This blog contains information, knowledge and my own experience regarding breastfeeding and breastmilk. Through this blog  I hope that awareness of the importance of breastfeeding for infants is increasing. All the benefits and advantages of breast milk will never be obtained from any formula milk. In Natural habit is all living things will suckle from its mother breastfeeding. The calf will suckle at the mother cow, a kitten will suckle on the mother cat, etc. So is the son of man be suckling at his mother. Things to know that no child is allergic to milk but due to poor due to the use of infant formula is often the case. Let us return to the nature  and give our children the rights of its mother's milk.
